The heart behind my work
My name is Kristina Kontonikas and my mission is to help people find calm, comfort, and confidence using evidence-based Hypno-CBT®. I bring together science, compassion, and practical tools to help you create lasting change. The great news is, once you learn these techniques you can easily implement them in other areas in your life that need support and change.
Before I trained in Hypno-CBT® at The UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, I spent years searching for the best ways to ease stress, pain, and emotional overwhelm. My journey became deeply personal when my son was diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome, a condition that means he’ll face ongoing health challenges and pain throughout his life.
Learning about pain, the mental and physical struggles that people with health conditions experience on a daily basis, help me to understand and support him in the future. It opened my eyes to how powerful the mind can be in helping us cope, heal, and live with more peace. That’s why I do what I do—to help others discover that same inner strength and calm, no matter what life brings. It’s not what happens to us that defines us, but how we cope and grow from it.
I work with people who feel stuck in cycles of stress, overthinking, or exhaustion, and who are ready to find calm and clarity again. Many of my clients struggle with sleep issues, chronic pain, or the emotional toll of ongoing health challenges.
They’re often caring, capable people who spend so much time looking after everyone else that they forget to look after themselves. They want to feel more in control of their thoughts, emotions, and wellbeing, but don’t know where to start. They've already tried the usual ways of medication, physiotherapy, listening to podcast, reading the self-help books... but the results are fading.
Through evidence-based Hypno-CBT®, I help them reconnect with their inner strength, ease their minds, and create lasting calm and joy in their daily lives.
